Ever since childhood, Elizabeth Claire has been passionate about meeting people from other cultures, studying world history, and growing up to become a citizen of the world. She studies Persian at the University of Washington, and during her Bonderman travels she plans to visit Persian-speaking communities whenever possible. In some of these countries Persian has been spoken for a thousand years, and yet others host much smaller diasporic groups. Additionally, Elizabeth Claire plans to visit museums such as the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Turkey and the Grand Egyptian Museum in Egypt. She plans on traveling to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Bahrain, Egypt, and Greece.
